Don Mancini’s horror movie, Child’s Play has Chucky, the notorious evil toy with some incredibly amazing yet frightening sequences. It stars Brad Dourif as the voice of Chucky.
You will know when you watch it with those terrifying jump scares and his wicked laugh, and playing around with dolls and toys will never be the same for a while. This foul-mouthed toy with a fearful laugh made even our night runs to the restroom challenging.
Chucky, the red-headed toy gets possessed by a serial killer, Charles Lee Ray’s spirit, and goes on a killing spree followed by many gore events.

For his sixth birthday, Andy, a little boy asks for a good guy doll after yearning for it since watching it in a commercial. Meanwhile, a serial killer, Charles Lee Ray, is chased by an officer named Mike Norris.
Charles has severe bleeding from the gunshot in the back, but he does not want to die even after facing death. He enters a toy store, chants something strange to perform his voodoo magic, and transfers his soul into a good guy doll he just grabbed.
With frightening lightning and dark clouds, his soul ends up inside the doll. Unfortunately, the doll ends up with a peddler, and seeing its affordable price, Karen(Andy’s mother) buys it for him.
Andy’s happiness knew no bounds when he slept beside his beloved good guy doll while being babysat by his aunt Maggie. Only with the growing darkness, the soul of the serial killer has the urge to kill someone.
He throws a hammer at Maggie and she falls to her death from the kitchen window. When Mike Norris, the same officer who shot Charles, arrives at the location, he notices Andy’s footprints and is convinced that he is the killer.
However, Andy has found out the dark secret about his doll and tries to convince the officer. Norris shuns him considering the little one is demented. Karen is also bewildered until she finds out that Chucky is “alive”.
When she tries to tell the cop about the same, he considers her lunatic and calls himself “sane” to not believe the doll is a killer. The moment he is convinced of the bloody doll’s intentions, maybe it is too late.

Almost two years have passed by but the events that took place with Andy Barclay, now an eight-year-old, have left a deep impact on him. Being in foster care, he still has disturbing memories of Chucky being fresh and alive.
His mother, Karen is sent to an asylum after she sticks to the point of Chucky being the killer in court statements. A disturbed Andy is trying to overcome the traumatic experience only for it to repeat.
The toy company Play Pals is trying to reconstruct its image after being downtrodden by the Chucky incident. They try to convince the fear-stricken people that the doll has been fine ever since.

While reconstructing the doll, they also unknowingly give Charles Lee Ray a shot at “life”. Trying to enter Andy’s body, Charles tracks him down and is all set to execute his malicious plans.
Andy needs to gather every bit of courage and convince his foster sister Kyle to stop the evil doll from possessing him.

Once she secures the remains from the cop, she murders him. Trying to sew the parts together, she performs the Voodoo ritual. After several failures, he springs back to life. Even after a decade of being instilled in the doll, he plans to get back to his human self.
He plans to retrieve his amulet that helps switch bodies and is currently buried with his body in his grave.
To execute his ill will, he kills Tiffany to instill her soul in a bridal doll. The killer-doll duo is set on a route where they meet high school lovebirds. The doll couple joins the real ones on their journey to fulfill their plans, starting a series of bloodshed.

Once again, Charles has risen to life along with his ex-wife Tiffany to take revenge on his old enemy Andy and recent victim Nica. The trio of Chucky dolls has suspiciously managed to form a Cult of Chucky to begin a new regime of terror.
