    Mythica: A quest for heroes starts when Marek is a young slave girl who aspires to be a strong and powerful magician when she grows up. Growing up, Marek always thinks of leaving her rigorous and boring life to take on exciting and incredible adventures while being trained in magic by a sorcerer, Gojun Pye.

    While wandering in Hammerhead Tavern, Marek meets Teela, a priestess seeking help getting away from the guy who owns her. After listening to Teela out, Marek helps her run away from her cruel owner. Slowly learning about her magical abilities, Marek gathers a crew consisting of Teela, Thane, a former soldier and an acquaintance of Teela, and Dagen, a Half-Elf with the skills of a thief and a womanizer.

    Together, the team sets out to find Teela’s sister. The people from Teela’s race were robbed by ogres and some orcs commanded by their leader, Sung Hill. They kidnap Teela’s sister at his command, who currently poses a peculiar she stole from a temple.

Teela’s sister is killed by Kishkumen, a yellow-eyed magician, who steals the stone from her and wishes to give it to Szorlok, his master. On learning about this, Gojun Pye reveals the secrets about the stone to Marek. That stone is a fragment of Darkspore, a piece that can give its user the immense power of the Lich King.

    Years Ago, Szorlok tried to gain power from the piece but was stopped by Gojun Pye and other sorcerers. The sorcerers decided to split the piece into fragments and distribute them worldwide. Gojun also reveals that, similar to Szorlok, Marek is also a necromancer.

    Szorlok wants Marek on her side because of her hidden potential, and if Marek is not careful with her powers, she might fall victim to the darkness. Marek and her company must go to the ruined city with the last fragment. If they lose this race to Kishkumen, all will be lost. During their journey, they find a dark elf with strange markings on his face, which allow him to be utterly harmless to any magic. During their journey, they make several attempts to protect the shards of the Darkspore from Szorlok, who wishes to reclaim them for his master.

    Released after six months following the second part, Mythica: The Necromancer was directed by A Todd Smith. It showcases Melanie Stone and Kevin Sorbo in the lead role. Marek started to develop an affinity for her magic and is now able to perform more complex and advanced spells.

    Gojun reveals more information about Szorlok and how he tried to stop the Vitalian soldiers from invading but obtaining the powers, becoming the Lich King, and commanding a horde of undead. Gojun tells Marek that Szorlok would need other necromancers to complete the ritual of the Darkspore, so Marek should lie low.

    When the thief bandits take Thane hostage as revenge, Malek and the team must go on a corrupt mission. However, this mission goes differently than planned, leading them right into the hands of Szorlok for a showdown.

    The team decided that the’ Gods’ was the safest place to leave the last fragment. Now on a quest to deliver the fragment, the team is being pursued by liches raised by Szorlok himself. They are also being followed by a trio of warriors working on behalf of the dwarf Hammerhead who was offered the iron crown by Szorlok, which would let Hammerhead become the Dwarf King.

    In order to prevent the wicked necromancer (Szorlok) from unifying the Darkspore and inundating the living world with his legions of undead, Marek must learn to have faith in herself before her companions are slaughtered, and the Darkspore is lost.
