   Elle, Warner, and Vivian are chosen to handle a high-profile case. Elle’s client is Brooke, a celebrity and Elle’s role model who is accused of murdering her husband. While investigating with Vivian, Elle gains her respect.

   When Callahan, the case’s attorney, makes a move on Brooke, she feels demotivated. Elle informs Brooke about the incident who fires Callahan instantly and makes Elle her attorney. As Elle cross-examines Brooke’s stepdaughter Chutney, she catches her in a lie through brilliant deduction.

   In the end, Warner begs Elle to take him back but Elle refuses. Vivian also dumps Warner and becomes friends with Elle. The movie ends with Emmett, Warner’s father, about to propose to Elle.

   Trying to find her Chihuahua Bruiser’s mother, Elle finds out that her law firm represents the company that uses Brusier’s mother as a test subject. When Elle raises the concern, she is dismissed.

   Elle decides to leave for Washington D.C and become an animal rights activist and decides to get animal testing outlawed. She joins Congresswoman Victoria Rudd, but after several failed attempts in making her work environment respect her, she starts losing faith.

   When Elle finds two friends in Congressman Marks and Congresswoman Hauser, who warm up to her and start supporting her Bruiser Bill. Elle also finds out that Rudd is working against her for personal profit.

   Later Rudd is blackmailed into supporting Elle’s bill, with a recorded conversation in which she admits to her wrongdoings, by Chief of Staff Grace. Grace sympathizes with Elle which is why she helped Elle out.

   With the help of her friends, Elle manages to get her bill approved and is able to reunite Bruiser with his mother. The movie ends with Elle getting married to Emmett in D.C.

   Released as a direct-to-DVD television movie, we follow the story of Elle’s cousins, Izzy and Annie who try to figure out their college and love life while a jealous enemy tries to spoil their public image.

   When Elle becomes a successful lobbyist, she sends her twin cousins Izzy and Annie two chihuahuas. The duo is shocked to learn that they are going to attend Pacific Preparatory, a private school that requires uniforms.

   The twins befriend Chris, who is in love with Annie, and Tiffany, a spoiled daughter of a wealthy man. Tiffany embarrasses the twins when she reveals that the twins are attending the school on a partial scholarship. The twins start trying to change the Pac Prep culture to a more positive note.

   Later, the twins are accused of cheating on their tests. The twins suspect that this is an elaborate plot set up by Tiffany and her boyfriend Justin, who have all the things required to frame the twins.

   Justin tries to silence Izzy by locking her in a bathroom. Annie overcomes her fear of public speaking and impersonates her twin sister in Student court. Irritated, Justin reveals that he and Tiffany were behind the scandal, and then are expelled from the school.

   The movie ends with Annie kissing Chris and Izzy kissing Brad. The twins become super popular at their school while Tiffany and Justin are cut off from their families.

   Full of positivity, Legally Blonde is a feel-good movie that focuses on the sham and glam of College life. With a new cast, the movie feels fresh while the cast from the old movies make guest appearances to keep the movie connected to the first two.

4. Legally Blonde 3 (TBA)

   Rumored to be in talks back in 2018, Reese Witherspoon was rumored to be that she was in discussing the possibility of a third Legally Blonde movie. 

   In 2018, Reese Witherspoon was rumored to be in talks with Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) to produce a sequel to the first two movies of the Legally Blonde franchise. MGM revealed the release date for the movie on Twitter, which was ‘May 8, 2020’. In May 2020, Mindy Kaling revealed that she was co-writing the script with Dan Goor.
