    During a rebellion against his oppressive father, Prince Einon’s heart is wounded. To save her son, Einon’s mother, Aislinn, takes him to a dragon, who gives him a part of his heart in exchange for a vow that Einon will govern in justice. Sir Bowen, Einon’s mentor, plans to kill all dragons when Einon breaks this oath because Bowen thinks the dragon’s heart has tainted Einon’s heart.

    Twelve years later, Bowen and Gilbert face out against a dragon without being aware that it is the same dragon that made a deal with Einon. Following a draw in the battle, Bowen and Draco (the dragon) decide to work together to con the local bad people.

    When a slave girl, Kara, is given up to Draco, Einon comes to her rescue but has to fight Bowen. Bowen starts to lose to Einon’s dirty tricks, so Draco shows his half-heart, which frightens Einon, and he flees. When Kara reveals the team up to the villagers attack Gilbert and Bowen after Kara reveals Bowen and Draco’s partnership.

    Draco flies to Avalon after saving the group, where he later admits that he had hoped to gain entry to the Dragon’s Constellation through Einon’s good actions. The group persuades the villagers of Draco’s deed and trains them into an army against Einon. Gilbert stabs Einon, almost giving the villagers victory, but Draco falls from the sky and is captured. Enion fiercely defends a captive Draco after realizing that as long as Draco is alive, he is unbeatable.

    Bowen and Einon fight after the peasants attack Einon’s castle, and after a bloody swordfight, Bowen tosses Einon from a tower. When Einon tries to attack Bowen again, Bowen kills Draco at Draco’s request to end Einon’s rule.

    Sir Bowen found an Egg in Draco’s cave a year before dying and entrusted it to a monastery. Aware of the prophecy about a dragon’s heart, which could doom all humanity when a comet passes by in the night sky, the monastery decides to take care of the egg till the comet passes.

    The king elects a new chief advisor, Osric, who poisons him to usurp the throne. Eight days before the fateful day, two Chinese travelers come to the kingdom asking about a dragon, trying to prevent the prophecy from happening. Geoff, a young stable worker in the monastery, tricks the caretaker and enters the dragon’s nest, where he slowly befriends Drake, the dragon.

    The Chinese learn of Drake’s existence four days before the crucial day and pressure Geoff to turn him over. Drake takes its first flight to save Geoff, revealing itself to the kingdom. Osric recruits Geoff as Drake’s caretaker and rider. The Chinese traveler, Lian, is revealed that Lian is the Chinese queen’s son. Lian and Kwan are captured on a fateful day, and Osric sends Geoff and Drake to a battle.

    Osric fakes a fatal injury and asks Drake for half his heart, but Geoff sees through this trick and stops Drake. Osric attacks Lian when she tries to confront him with a knife, fatally injuring Kwan. When cornered, Osric reveals himself to be Griffin, a dragon cursed to live in human form, and Lian realizes the prophecy was about him, not Drake.

    After a fierce fight between Drake and Griffin, Drake manages to freeze Griffin, but a stray shard hits and kills Geoff. Drake gives Geoff half his heart and successfully revives Geoff.

    Gareth, a competent squire, successfully qualifies for his knighthood test but is refused entry as he couldn’t collect enough money from peasants. Jobless, Gareth is taken in by a peasant couple. That night, a meteor falls, Gareth goes out to find the meteor when the couple tells him it might contain riches.

    When Gareth finds the meteor, he notices a tribe trying to fend off a dragon and trying to steal its eggs, which came out of the comet. Gareth assists the Dragon but suffers damage in the process. Gareth’s efforts move the Dragon and offer him half of his heart. Rhonu, a renegade leader who opposes the tribe attacking the Dragon known as the Painted Tribe, rescues Gareth.

    Gareth regroups with the Dragon and names him Drago, which can now talk, and Drago requests Gareth to help retrieve the eggs. Gareth infiltrated the Painted Tribes Base but was caught and captured. With the help of Rhonu, Gareth can successfully escape with the eggs. During their journey to the wall for safety, Gareth and Rhonu learn about the curse on the Drago and how they will have full control of him after the Full Moon sets.

    When they arrive at the wall, Gareth and the others are detained, and the Painted Tribes Leader, Brude, is now in charge of the Dragon. With the help of some magic, Gareth and Rhonu escape their cell, and Gareth bravely fights a Knight to stop the sale of the Eggs.

    This act of bravery sets Drago Free. Gareth defeats the Knight, and Rhonu kills Brude but is heavily injured. Gareth tends to her wounds, and one of the unhatched dragons shares his heart with her, which saves her life.

Walter marries and has twins with unusual skin scales and names them Edric Mehgan. Twenty years later, King Gareth dies, but Drago finds out he is now bonded to Edric. Drago convinces Edric to become the ruler of his father’s Kingdom, which Edric agrees to.

    Though appreciated by the Kingdom’s people, Drago is resentful of Edric’s way of ruling. When Edric learns that the Vikings have invaded, he rushes and challenges the leader to a duel, only to discover that the leader is Mehgan. When Mehgan demands the throne as she is the firstborn, Edric refuses and leaves.

    Since Mehgan is a firebreather, she drains Drago’s Hearfire and takes over the Kingdom with the help of the Vikings. Mehgan banishes Edric, who tries to find support through his old employer, but ends up being betrayed by them and sold as an enslaved person. Drago saves Edric from drowning, and they reconcile when Drago tells him that he is dying without hellfire. Edric and Drago return to the Kingdom to try to recover the Heartfire.

    When Edric reaches for the Heartifre, he sees one of Mehgan’s soldiers trying to backstab her. Mehgan can dodge the attack, and Thorgrim, Meghan’s right hand, reveals himself as a backstabber. Thorgrim absorbs the Heartfire but can’t control the power, allowing Edric to kill him. Draco refuses the Heartfire and tells Edric to use it on Mehgan, who was mortally wounded. With the Gareth Family reunited, Draco dies and joins the Draco Constellation’s tail.

After witnessing his family’s death at the hands of 4 savage raiders, Lukas sets out on a quest for revenge.

    When Lukas is refused help from King Razvan, he ventures into the countryside to find Siveth. Siveth turns Lukas down as she realizes his motive is vengeance, not justice. Soon after, Lukas finds a horse with a saddle and other aids. Darius, a mercenary, trains Lukas in fighting and accompanies him on the journey.

    While hunting one of the raiders, the duo discovers that Siveth is with them as the horse, and after an argument with her, Darius leaves. During the fight, the raider falls to their death. Siveth subdues another raider, and they keep him captive when he promises to take them to the other two raiders. After Darius disturbs their ambush, Siveth tells Darius that they are bonded. Siveth explains how Darius’s parents were killed due to the king’s corrupt actions and how Siveth had to give Darius her heart to save his life.

    The trio drops the raider off at a police station and searches for others. Darius finds out the king orders the raiders to make the killing and reveals it to the others. Lukas is heavily injured after a fight with the raiders and requires weeks to recover. The king blames Lukas for false crimes during this time and tries to jail him. Siveth then reveals the king’s crime to the world with the confession of the Raiders. The king is put away for good, and the trio leads a happy life.
