    Starting off this amazing but absurd movie series, Sharknado (2013) introduces its viewers to the crazy concept of Sharknadoes. In the movie, we follow Fin Shepard a surfer who is on a mission to save his family from the approaching Sharknado. When the Sharnknado starts destroying the city, Fin decides to take matters into his own hand.

    The movie starts with a hurricane hurling some sharks onto a ship, where the Sharks slaughter everyone on board. When the hurricane hits LA professional surfer Fin, sets out with his friends to save his estranged wife April, and his daughter, Claudia.

    Fin is able to successfully save April before her home is flooded by a shark-infested flood. While Noah, Fin’s friend drives, a shark jumps onto their roof. Fin fights the shark off but his hand is cut during the fight. Three tornadoes hit the city and are engulfed by the shark-infested waters, creating the Sharknadoes.

    The group comes up with a plan of sending a bomb-riddled helicopter into the tornadoes to blow them up. The plan is successful, and the group destroys two of the tornadoes. Slowly but surely Fin starts losing his group member one by one tho the Sharknadoes.

    In the end, Fin is successfully able to destroy the third Sharknado by sending a car full of bombs into it. When the Sharks start falling out of the sky, one of them starts heading toward Fin’s group. Fin jumps into the Shark’s mouth and tears through it inside out using a chainsaw. The movie ends with Fin and April reuniting.

In it, we follow Fin and his wife April traveling to New York, when their plane is attacked by a Sharknado. When the two see the disaster spreading throughout the Big Apple, the duo decide to save the citizens.

    Fin and April are traveling around the world, to advertise their book. When their plane lands through a storm, some airborne Sharks attack the plane. While Fin lands the plane, April loses a hand fighting the Sharks. Fin tries to warn the crowd at the airport, but no one listens. Fin instantly calls Ellen to warn her.

    Ellen tells Fin to save her husband Martin and her son Vaugh. Fin drops April off at a hospital and rushes to save the others with a cab driver Ben. Reaching the stadium, the game is canceled due to the storm. When sharks start raining down, Fin improvises weapons and rushes his group to the subway.

    When the waters flood the subways, Fin and the group try to escape. Predicting this outcome, Ben rushes the group to a gun store so they can ready themselves. When the flood arrives, Fin is able to save the other but Ben succumbs to the Sharks.

    When two Sharknadoes converge into one big one, Fin head to a hotel roof with his friend Skye to bomb the Sharknado. When the bomb failed to stop the Sharknado, they rush and escape. Wanting to reunite, April flees the hospital using a firetruck.

    At the Empire State Building, Fin plans to detonate a tank of Freon atop the building to its lightning rod to stop the storm. As Skye sets up the Freon tank on the lightning rod but is ripped to pieces by Sharks. The plan is successful and one of the falling sharks spits her hand out. Fin repurposes this hand as a ring and proposes to April.

    Carrying over the aspects that made the first movie likable, Sharknado 2: The Second One raises those aspects to the next level. While maintaining the same quality as the previous movie, the story is set on a bigger stage and the action feels very exciting.

When the trio discovers that a huge tornado will destroy the whole east coast, they deiced to go to an air base to acquire a jet to travel faster. Lucas sacrifices himself so that, Nova and Fin can safely acquire the plane.

    Fin successfully reaches his daughter in time to save her from a Sharknado. Fin teams up with her daughter and her friends and escapes with them when a Sharknado approaches. Fin approaches his father who works at NASA with a risky plan. They decide to go through with the plan of dropping tanks of fuel from a space shuttle to blow the storm up.

    April decides to join Fin on the mission, after confronting him about the dangers of it. The tank fails to stop the storm so Fin’s father activates Plan B and uses a satellite laser weapon which strands him in space. Fin and April are swallowed alive by Sharks in space, but the two are safe when they land on Earth.

    During the descent, April gives birth to their child, who Fin names Gil. The movie ends with April seemingly being crushed by falling space debris.

    Parodying the famous Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Sharknado 4 takes the story to newer more ludicrous heights. After a company found a cheap way to quell Sharknados, newer and harsher Sharknados like Lavanado, Hailnado, and even Nukenados started appearing. Will Fin risk it all to save the lives of millions?

    Tech Company Astro-X has created cheap and clean reactors named Astro-pods that can easily stop Sharknados from forming. They open a shark-themed hotel on their 5th anniversary. Skydiving with his Fiance, Matt, Fin’s son notices a sandstorm develop.

    The sandstorm swoops water and sharks from Astro-X’s hotel forming a Sharknado which ravages Las Vegas. Fin helps Matt and his friends survive the storm as it passes into the desert. After being rescued from the Moon, Fin’s father, Colonel Shepheard is hired by Astro-X. Wilford, an Astro-X scientist has transplanted Fin’s wife into a Cyborg.

    Reynolds, Astro-X’s founder, saves Fin and his group from another Sharknado by diverting it to the Grand Canyon. Reynolds tries to hire Fin, in order to negate the bad rep of his company but fails. Fin and the group end up in Texas where another Sharknado approaches.

    When the Sharknado strikes a transformer, it turns into a Lightningado which picks up the group’s car. April saves the group, while Fin is surprised to see her alive. A Sharknado strikes Fin’s farm and turns into a Cownado. Fin and the groups take shelter which is carried away by The Cownado.

    Reynolds saves the group in his jet. The situation gets worse when the Lightningnado hits a nuclear power plant which converts it to a Nukeado. Reynolds suggests using Colonel Shepard’s suit as a device to remove the radioactivity and then using an Astro-pod to diffuse it.

    One by one as the group is swallowed alive by sharks, Fin decides to take the suit. Fin successfully turns the Nukenado back into a Sharknado. Reynolds uses an Astro-Pod to stop the Sharknado. Using April’s new powers, the group rescues Fin. The movie ends with the group releasing that the Sharknado might be a global problem.

    Cranking the destruction up to 11, Sharknado 5 is jam-packed with thrilling action sequences. In it, we follow Fin as he unleashes vortex Sharknados on the world by taking an artifact from a hidden shark god temple. Can Fin return the world to its previous state or is a bigger disaster waiting to happen?

    While investigating a hidden temple, Nova asks Fin for help. The duo finds a Shark God shrine and takes an artifact that has consequences. A Sharknado opens up with a dimensional vortex which is stopped by the help of guards, but it sucks up Gil, Fin’s son.

    The group tracks Gil down to Switzerland. The group’s plane crashes when struck by a Sharknado. This Sharknado transports the group to Sydney, where they are rescued by Gemini Fin’s cousin, who is piloting a ship with nuclear waste. A Sharknado sucks all the waste and stars heading toward Japan.

    Fin and April are transported to Rio Where they learn that the Sharknados are caused by portals all around the world. Fin and April use the artifact to generate a Sharknado, and nearly save Gil but are sucked into the vortex. The duo is dropped into Japan where a nuclear Shaknado called Sharkzilla is rampaging.

    Nova dives into the Sharknado to save Gil but dies when the Army nukes the Sharkzilla, in turn seemingly killing Gil. After this Fin receives a call from Matt who tells him that all of their family has died. Devastated, Fin decides to return the artifact to stop the escalating Sharknados.

    Through a Shaknado they summoned, the duo is transported to the Pyramids of Giza. an ancient mechanism sucks a vortex into itself seemingly ending the disasters. The mechanism spits out a globally threatening Sharknado which destroys the planet. Fin uses a Spear he found to secure their position while April uses her energy to absorb the ability to suck up the Vortex, sacrificing herself in the process.

    Fin retrieves April’s head and wanders the now ruined planet. A truck approaches him which is being driven by a severely aged Gil. Gil explains that the Sharkzilla exploding sent him back in time, and has now discovered a way to use them as time machines. Fin and Gil set out to save the world by going back in time.

    Setting up neatly for the last movie in the franchise, Sharknado 5: Global Swarming maintains quality action sequences while delivering a fun story to watch unfold. This movie sets up many spectacular plot points which will be solved in the following movie.

    The sixth and final installment in the franchise, The Last Sharknado ends the franchise on a high note. Following the events of the previous movie, Fin time travels back in time to fix the world that he ruined.

    Gil and Fin travel back in time and Gil instantly disappears as a person can only travel back in time once. Fin arrives in an era with Dinosaur and finds Nova, April, and Bryan who were saved by Gil.

    While trying to stop a Sharknado, Fin rides a dinosaur that shows him a flashback of Gil before he disappears. Fin stops a Sharknado and believes that they have changed history so he travels back to the current time with the group.

    The group travels to a Medieval time where they discover that Gil’s time travel has caused Sharknados to appear throughout history. Fin reveals April’s future to her and apologies for keeping her in the dark. Fin defeats the Sharknado using Excalibur.

    Time traveling again, Fin and the group reach the wild west. Skye saves Gil and April from the enforcement. Skye suggests Gil to save his future self, creating a Bootstrap Paradox. The group sends Gil to the future before destroying the Sharknado.

    In the next time travel,  Fin encounters his parents and enlists their help to destroy the Sharknado. The group tries to travel to Gil’s time but Nove sabotages it in an attempt to save his grandfather. Nova attempts the rescue but dies in the process. April is also killed while Fin loses the cyborg April’s head.

    Devastated, Fin and Skye by mistake travel to 20013 where cyborg April has taken over the world. Cyborg April tries to make Fin stay but real April intervenes and Fin uses it as a distraction to return to 2013. Future April arrives and starts intervening with Fin’s plan. Present-day April’s head helps Fin defeat future April and sacrifice themselves to create a new timeline.

    The movie ends with all the cast being safe and sound while a TV announcer says that there are no anomalies with the weather.
