    Starting this exciting Franchise, Hotel Transylvania introduces us to the gothic and fun world and characters. In the movie, we follow Count Dracula or Drac, an overprotective father who would go to any lengths to show that humans are evil. When his daughter falls for a human named Jhonny, will Drac accept Jhonny, or will he desert him to his fate?

    When an angry Human Mob kills his wife, Count Dracula commissions a Monsters-only hotel to raise his daughter Mavis, where many famous monsters like Frankenstein reside.

    When Mavis asks to venture into the human world, Count sets up an elaborate plan to make the human look terrible. Due to the plan, a human, Jhonny, is dragged into the hotel, so the Count dresses him as a monster to hide his identity.

    Johnny and Mavis fall for each other at first sight. Scared that his secret will be found out, Drac orders Jhonny to leave, but Mavis brings him back. After Jhonny shows Mavis a sunrise, Mavis decides to give humans another chance.

    When the chef discovers that Jhonny is a human, he kidnaps Jhonny and tries to cook him. Drac freezes the chef and shows Jhonny a photo of his wife, showing him why he built the hotel. Drac tells Jhonny to stay so as not to ruin Mavis’s birthday.

    After a great party, when Jhonny and Mavis share a kiss, Drac overreacts and confesses about deceiving her. The chef unfreezes and reveals Jhonny’s identity, but Mavis is undeterred and proposes to Jhonny. Out of respect for her father, Jhonny refuses and decides to leave.

    When Drac remembers the zing between him and his wife, he is convinced that Mavis and Jhonny’s love is true. Drac rushes to the airport in hopes of catching Jhonny. Drac turns into a bat burning in the sunlight to apologize to Jhonny, and Jhonny accepts.

    The movie ends with Jhonny returning to the hotel, and Jhonny and Mavis share a kiss.

    Continuing the misadventures of Jhonny and Drac, Hotel Transylvania 2 add a new cute family member. In it, we get to see Drac being overprotective of his grandson and Mavis, and they are trying to decide on leaving Transylvania and raising Dennis in the human world. Thinking that danger would help manifest Dennis’s powers, Drac puts Dennis in terrifying situations.

    A year after their marriage, Mavis has a kid with Jhonny, and they name him Dennis, nicknamed “Denisovich” by Drac. When Dennis does not bear his fangs, Mavis starts considering moving to the human world.

    Not wanting Mavis and Dennis to move out, Drac and Jhonny plan to take Mavis to her in-laws but keep her distracted so that she doesn’t want to move. This leaves Drac to babysit Dennis.

    Trying to force Dennis’s transformation into a bat, Drac flights him off a cliff, but when Dennis fails to transform, Drac flies down at the last second to save him. When Jhonny’s parents make a failed attempt at making Mavis comfortable, she sits on the roof. Mavis receives a video of Drac flinging Dennis off a cliff and angrily hurries back to the hotel. Mavis angrily tells Drac that they will be leaving after Dennis’s birthday.

    On their birthday, Vlad, Drac’s father, tries to scare Dennis enough to bare his fangs. Seeing his grandson scared, Drac saves Dennis. Mistaking that Drac did all this, Mavis starts arguing with the family. Ridden with guilt, Dennis flees to the forest with Winnie.

    When Vlad’s assistant Bela learns that Dennis might be human, she tries to attack him. Winnie shields Dennis and takes the blow. Angered, Dennis bears his fangs and bashes Bela. Bela calls for backup, but Drac and his family defeat them all. With Dennis embracing his Vampire abilities, Mavis decides to raise him in Transylvania.

    Adding a new family member to the already fun mix of the fun characters of the previous movie is an excellent fit. Maintaining a good balance between the human and the monster’s world while the story keeps the viewers heavily engaged.

    Noticing that Drac is falling for Ericka, Mavis starts questioning her motives. In Atlantis, Drac helps Ericka find a family Heirloom. When Mavis confronts Drac, he confesses that he fell for Ericka. Feeling guilty, Ericka refuses and decides to leave Drac heartbroken.

    Ericka hands the instrument over to Helsing, who uses it to summon the Kraken, which attacks the ship. To calm the angry Kraken, Johnny starts playing ‘Macarena,’ which contains the Kraken and all the people aboard the ship dancing.

    When Helsing cracks his back while dancing, Drac saves him from falling. Thanking Drac for his kindness, Helsing apologizes to Drac and gives everyone aboard a refund. In the end, Drac proposes to Ericka, who accepts.

    The fourth and final installment in the Hotel Transylvania franchise decides to focus on the relationship between Drac and Johnny. In it, we follow Jhonny as he is turned into a monster who is losing his sense of self. Drac and his friends must find a way to revert their transformations.

    During the 125th celebration of the hotel, Mavis overhears Drac’s plan to retire and hand the hotel over to Mavis and Jhonny. When Jhonny tells his plans for the hotel to Drac, Drac makes up an estate law that states that humans cannot inherit monster land.

    Helsing decided to help Jhonny by shooting with a ray gun that turned him into a dragon-like monster. When Drac tries to turn Jhonny back, he turns himself human and breaks the Ray gun. Helsing says they can repair the gun in a cave in the human world.

    While traveling, the two are cast on the news, seen by Mavis, who interrogates Helsing about them. Helsing reveals that the more time Jhonny spends as a monster, the more he will turn insane. Knowing their location, Mavis sets out to rescue them. While traveling, Drac and Jhonny bond and Drac reveals that he made the estate rule up.

    Feeling that Drac does not consider him family, Jhonny’s transformation worsens, and he leaves. Drac continues towards the cave, while Mavis saves Jhonny and slowly leads him towards the cave. Nothing happens when Drac shoots Jhonny with the raygun, as Jhonny has gone insane.

    Feeling guilty, Drac gives up and admits that he was wrong and now sees the best in Jhonny, finally accepting Jhonny as family. This brings Jhonny back to his senses, turning him back to humans.

    The movie ends with Mavis and Jhonny rebuilding the hotel and Drac liking it.

    As the final installment in the franchise Hotel Transylvania 4 concludes the story nicely and wraps up all the loose ends. Focusing on Drac and Johnny’s relationship, the movie is a fun ride that ends positively.
